Note for:   Ann Marie Joy,   1832 - AFT 1910         Index

Residence:
     Date:   1880
Place:   Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States

Individual Note:
There is a Ann M. Joy of this age in the 1850 census with the Elbridge Ford family in Abington as a servant at age 16 and then in the 1860 cenus the same family has a Ann M. Joy as a servant but the age says 36 - must be the same one and the 1860 census is in error.

Her Marriage record to Harvey says it is her first and does not list her parents names even though all others on the page do have parents name.
Perhaps she was adopted and/or her parents died when she was young.

There is a Luanda Joy born in Abinton in 1832? could this be Anna?
1832 JOY Luanda T., ch. Cyrus and Nancy, -, 1832. G.R.1. more Birth Abington MVR
Found this: Joy Lucinda F. Abington 1852 67 238 Death View Image View Non-Plugin Image - I think Luanda and Lucinda are the same - birth year and parents name match so this is not the Anna Marie Joy 1832 I am looking for. Info included in case someone else heads down this path.

The Quincy Mass birth location came from Rootsweb. NEHGS online does not have MV for Quincy. Need to work on this more.

Note for:   Rebekah Lawrence,   3 DEC 1750 -          Index

Alias:   Larrance /Rebecca/, Laurance, Lawrance, Lawrence

Individual Note:
Lists her MN as "Ware" on Elias death record but I believe that to be an error. Entry directly about this was also Ware and I think it was copied over or its a big conincidence.

Note for:   Sarah Butts,   1790 - 17 DEC 1848         Index

Alias:   /Butler/

Residence:
     Date:   1818
     Place:   When married in Troy

Individual Note:
From One Family Tree notes: None Verified

"All the information I have been able to find regarding Sarah Butts is that she was born abt.1790, was from Troy and on November 10,1818 married Michael Haskell (He was b. abt 1793 in Fall River) They had several children born in Fall River and I have land records stating they owned the "homestead farm" in Fall River as late as 1846. If anyone
might know Sarah's parents names or any information regarding Michael I would be very very happy to receive word"

"I have been studying the Freetown family also. My gut feeling right now is Sarah was the daughter of Gideon Jr. and Sarah (Woodcock) even though they married in 1797. Another possibility is James who had married Sarah Chase in 1785 There is a marriage of a James to Betsy Bordan in 1800 may be his second marriage they went to N.Y. I believe. I have a copy of an 1810 map showing one Butts family in Freetown/Fall River then called Troy Mass. There were three in the 1790 census as heads of families,(Isaac, Gideon, Abner) but I feel there were more buried within those families. Abner went to N.Y. then later Ohio."
